Farrukh Amonatov and Anton Filippov qualify for the World Chess Cup
FIDE Zone 3.4 Championship, 16-26th June in Tashkent

The FIDE Zone 3.4 Championship for men and women took place on 16-26th June in Tashkent, capitol of Uzbekistan. By collecting 10 points each from 13 rounds, Grandmasters Farrukh Amonatov (Tajikistan) and Anton Filippov (Uzbekistan) took first and second place in the zonal tournament and qualified to participate in the World Chess Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk. International Master Rinat Dzhumabaev (Kazakhstan) finished on third, full point behind the winners.

For women, International Master Nafisa Muminova (Uzbekistan) wins the first place and the right to play in the World Chess Championship. She collected 8 points from 10 games. Only second was the top-seeded Grandmaster Marya Sergeyeva and third is FIDE Master Guliskhan Nakhbayeva, both from Kazakhstan and with 6 points each.
