Agreement of cooperation between the Association of Chess Professionals (ACP) and the French Chess Federation (FFE)

The ACP and the FFE have been collaborating for a long time on several common projects aiming at making chess more professional and attractive. The problem of quick draws in top chess events and the status of professional players are among the most important.

The FFE is one the fastest developing European federations, which has seen the number of its members spectacularly increase to 52,000, and the ACP therefore feels particularly important to keep working with their French colleagues.

The FFE appreciates the ACP’s contribution to professional chess and its faimess towards all components of the chess world.

In order to continue their cooperation in a more official framework, the ACP and the FFE have agreed on the following: starting from August 1st, the FFE will become a group member of the ACP.
