Umm rb3 rb1 stops it but how to follow up.
I can’t analyze the long line, but white can definitely stop f1(Q) with Rb3+ and Rb1. Or can he?
The obvious beginning is Rb3 since it appears to be the only way to prevent f1(Q).
1. Rb3 Ka6
2. Rb1 g3
Now, the problem is to stop the connected pawns, and it must be done immediately since black is threatening g2, g1(Q). Again, I can see only one path for white:
3. Nf4 ef4 (otherwise Ng2 blocks)
4. Bd4 Ne5 (the knight is safe)
That is all I got at the moment, I need a chess set or a bit more time to come up with more, but otherw are welcome to build on this.
Seems to me this is would lead to a win.
1. Rb3+ Ka6
( 1 .. Ka7 2.Rb7 KXa6 3.RXd7 +-)
2. Kc5+ KXc5
(1 .. Ka7 2.RXb7 Ka8 and here
best I see si far is a draw
after RXd7)
3. KXc5 b6+
4. KXc6 Ka7
5. Ra3+ Kb8
6. BXe5 and 7. Ra1
and white will win
bishop controls g pawns
and rooks takes care of an f pown.
How about,
1.Rb3+, Kxa6 2.Nc5+, Nxc5 3.Kxc5 b6+ 4.Kxc6 Ka7 5.Ra3+ Kb8 6.Bxe5+ Kc8 7.Ra8++ blk has other moves of course but I like this line ignoring the f pawn.

Very beautiful and indeed tricky position but with best play White can only draw.
Computer analysis seems to confirm it is indeed a draw.
Do we have any hope for a solution? 😀
