The 6th Korbach Open 2014 is taking place on 23-26th October 2014 in Korbach, Germany.
The event is split into three tournaments: Open A (7-round Swiss tournament, open to all), Open B (7-round Swiss open for players rated below 2000 DWZ) and Open C (7-round Swiss tournament for players under 1400 DWZ).
The main prizes in Open A will be awarded as follows: 700 €/ 550 €/ 350 €/ 200 €/ 100 €.
Top seeded are German IM Hagen Poetsch (2504), Serbian GM Misa Pap (2476) and Hungarian GM Attila Czebe(2428).
