The 2015 International Chess Tournament of Forni di Sopra is taking place on 13-20th June in Forni di Sopra, part of the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park and one of the jewels of the Italian Alps.
Accademia Internazionale di Scacchi, Circolo Scacchistico Udinese, ScacchiRandagi, FSI and Comune Forni di Sopra organize the traditional event in the heart of the Dolomites.
54 players from 15 different countries compete in a 9-round Swiss format with tempo of play 90′ X 40 moves + 30′ + 30″.
Top seed is Hungarian GM Csaba Horvath (2546).
