5 Gold, 4 Silver, 1 Bronze – 56 consecutive game scoring streak, all on board 1 (Olympiad Record) – Never lost a single game!
In 2008, I had the honor to light the Olympiad Cauldron to kick off the Dresden Chess Olympiad!
The thing I remember most is the selection was not made until minutes before the Opening Ceremony started. Since it was done in a Hockey Stadium, I had to walk to the center of rink in high heels on ICE! And no, I did NOT fall 🙂
