The games of the SAIF POWERTEC 41st Bangladesh National ‘A’ Chess Championship 2015, sponsored by SAIF POWERTEC Limited, and organised by Bangladesh Chess Federation began from 3rd November 2015 at the NSC Tower Auditorium of National Sports Council in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

It’s the highest national champion of Bangladesh. This year 14 players, including 4 GMs, 2 IMs, 6 FMs, are participating in the event. GM and IM norms are possible from this event. Mr. Ashok Kumar Biswas Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Government and Secretary of National Sports Council inaugurated the event. Mr. K M Shahidullah Vice President of Bangladesh Chess Federation preside inauguration ceremony. Mr. Mohammad Jahangir Islam Chairman of Tournament Committee, Mr. Gazi Shayiful Tarique General Secretary of Bangladesh Chess Federation and Ln. Mazibur Rahman Howladar Secretary of Tournament Committee gave speeches in the inauguration. Both Joint Secretaries of Bangladesh Chess Federation Mr. Mr. Morsalin Ahmed and Mr. Shamim Khan and Mr. Alauddin Saju Secretary of Sheikh Russel Chess Club were present Reigning national champion GM Rahman, Ziaur of Bangladesh Navy is highest rated player of the event.
