Black is a piece up and he has to consolidate it.Right now he has to deal with the attack on N.He does it elegantly by,
1…. NB5 leaving his Q en prise.
If 2.QxQ BxP+ 3.KN1 BB4+ leads to mate.
2.BxN QxN leaves black with the extra piece he had earned before.
Black is a R up for a P. If he can weather the attack he wins easily!
1.Nf4!!!
>A-2.Qxh6.Bxg2+.3.Kg1.Bc5+!.4.Bd4.Bxd4#!!
>B-2.Bxf4.Qxf4! And white’s attack fizzles out. Black is a R up and all the play; his K is adequately protected and he has an attack now.
>C-2.Qg3.(q has to move else Nxh3).Bxg2+.3.Kg1.Bc5+ busts White!
Better than yesterday’s 10 secs where there is no apparent easy win for white!
Harry
1…Nf4! wins, because White cannot take the queen: 2.Qxh6 Bxg2+ 3.Kg1 Bc5+ with a mate in two. After 2.Bxf4 Qxf4 White’s attack is over and Black remains a rook up.
Nf4!, threatening Bxg2+ and then dark square bishop checks and mate.
I must be missing something. Best I can see is for Black to simplify (he’s Rook up) with 1…Nf4. Clearly White can’t play 2. Qxh6 Bxg2+, 3. Kg1 Bc5+
So main line might be 2. Bxf4 Qxf4, 3. Bf5 h6

Black is up a rook to a pawn, but the black knight looks like it’s going to fall. However,
1. … Nf4!
If 2. Qxh6 Bxg2+ 3. Kg1 Bc5+ 4. Bd4 Bxd4#.
I see Nf4 and after Qxh6 Bxg2+, Kg1 Bc5+ it’s over. But I don’t know what to do if white takes the Knight with the Bishop Bxf4.
I guess the move should be 1…Nf4. if 2.Qxh6 Bxg2+ Kg1 Bc5+ … #. Else, if 2.Bxf4 Qxf4 and the threat for mate ends with a problem less to handle.
1… Nf4
forces 2. Bxf4
because if 2 Qxh6
3. … Bxg2+
4. Kg1 Bc5+
0-1
and 2. Qg3 also results in …Bg2+ winning white’s queen.
But after 2. Bxf4, Qxf4 white is a full piece down, and not much compensation.
Black is a rook for a pawn ahead. By playing Nf4, he maintains this material advantage, since white can only capture the queen at the cost of getting mated.
