Greetings from New York City! I am in New York City to participate in the 2009 Global Creative Leadership Summit. The GCLS is a partnership with the United Nations.

2009 Global Creative Leadership Summit

Delegates, including heads of state, acclaimed artists, Nobel Prize recipients, global CEOs and the most influential international thought-leaders will gather in New York City on September 23-25, 2009 for the fourth annual Global Creative Leadership Summit – a platform in partnership with the United Nations designed to address the challenges and opportunities of globalization.

Globalisation has connected the world more closely than ever – there are no more borders. The Financial Crisis has shown us that culture, values, politics, business, economics and poverty have shared causes and consequences. Only a cross-disciplinary approach by a united international community will be effective. The Global Creative Leadership Summit brings humility, cultural understanding and just such a multi-dimensional approach to define the issues and affect transformational policies.

The Summit will feature a Gala and Awards Ceremony dedicated to honouring leaders in politics, science, business and the arts who have made a global contribution.
