Go Ray!!!! He’s worked really hard for this title and I truly believe that he deserves it. It would’ve been nice though if he were a female. It would then prove all the stereotypes wrong.
it’s really ashamed that one of them will lose their chance for a norm this time around.

??
Well, he’s not so…
What’s the point?
“It would then prove all the stereotypes wrong.” Well gee, given that no American female junior has come close to where Ray is at his age, it would seem that those so-called “stereotypes” are pretty close to reality now wouldn’t it?
Its realy shaming that both cannot win. Chess game is unfair.
‘it’s really ashamed’
Why? We now know in advance that one of them does not deserve it at moment.
Go Danny! He deserves the IM title! Such a terrible fate for both of them!
How old is ray? I’m watching the game right now over monroi.com and ray has a two pawn lead.

I don’t believe the stereotype issue. Susan has a sister who smashed those stereotypes decades ago.
Is there live commentary somewhere? I don’t understand any move they play! I am not very strong to do so.
Go Danny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
unfortunately…Ray didn’t make it this time…
but he’ll be back!
The game is drawn, so Danny Rensch is new IM-elect.
congratulations to the newest IM
